The trip to Houston paid well. While at the computer this morning, the doorbell rang and by the time I ran to the bedroom, hollered toward the door, and came flying through the house with a robe on, the FedEx guy was already headed down the street. A little like Santa in his sled, he gave me a merry wave as I looked to my feet and found our passports. Yippee! One more hurdle behind us as we get ready to head out to Rome a week from today.
If anyone reading remembers my friend and former fellow teacher, Jan Parker, she has been very helpful as I struggle to plan a doable, budget-wise itinerary. Thank you, Jan. chanel handbags As I was talking to Jan via the IM on FB (internet messaging on Facebook) Leslie Lewis-Sigler popped up. How I do enjoy FBing. She is going to be thinking of any advice for us on our Italian adventure, too.
Jan showed me her blog about Italy, so I thought, why not? I will endeavor to share our days and forays with you as we travel. Stay posted and if you can think of anyone I need to include, let me know, please. I hate to impose myself on anyone... except you.
